The brand started over 15 years ago in Orange County, CA. SP grew out of the Orange County Fight Club and was first to sponsor and support MMA legends Kimo, Tito Ortiz, Rampage Jackson, and more. There was a heavy influence by Gracie family to the brand and MMA arena. When nobody was sponsoring the fighters or helping them, Damien Kutzner, CEO, stepped in. MMA is his passion and the fighters his friends. SP was started for these fighters that are Serious Pimps in what they do. They sacrificed their bodies to inspire greatness. Serious Pimp was made for the fighters without the intention of creating a large company or worldwide brand. The demand from fans and a collaboration with Snoop Dogg pushed the brand into the world of Hip-Hop. Many West Coast rap artist were already supporting Serious Pimp and appreciate the company keeping its style true to the streets.
