Roc4Life Celebrates One Year Anniversary at NYC’s Club Amnesia

May 2010 marks the one year anniversary of Roc4Life.  What better way to celebrate than throw a huge party at New York City’s infamous Club Amnesia? DJ Mick Boogie was in the DJ tower, and he kept a steady stream of club favorites flowing through the sound system all night long. Adult beverages were provided by Ciroc.

Club Amnesia is an amazing venue. The large main floor is interspersed with dance floors, surrounded by sitting areas, and bars along two walls. Over the main floor, hung two large white silky tapestries. Intermittently, gymnasts would climb into the thin silk sheets and perform various amazing stunts, like something straight out of Cirque du Soleil.

Skullcandy was also on hand promoting the new collaboration with Roc Nation, the Skullcandy x Roc Nation Aviator headphones. The Skullcandy girls were circulating the party, allowing the guests to demo the new headphones.

Roccawear has also put out a spot featuring the new headphones (below).

In keeping with his close relationship to the Roc family, Jay-Z was scheduled to attend, but was called out of town at the last minute. Even without Hova’s attendance, the party was one for the books.
