Snoop Dogg has announced the launch of his own fashion label, called ‘Rich & Infamous’.
Snoop joins a long line of ‘entrepreneurial’ celebs who have released clothing lines, including his hip-hop colleague P Diddy.
Snoop has been promoting it on his reality TV show ‘Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood’.
The range will be streetwear aimed at men aged between 18 and 35, and include accessories, grooming products and home ware.
The line was unveiled at the Las Vegas, Nevada Magic Fashion trade show event august 26th. CEO of the company licensing the clothing range, Robert Thorne, expects Snoop’s line will do well.
“Big stars don’t usually spend a lot of time promoting the brand. This is no longer ‘I’m going to make a few extra bucks’, now it’s about ‘How am I going to make this about who I am and make this last a decade or two or more?”
