The movie has enough silliness, adventure and romance to allow boys and girls of almost all ages to totally fall in love with it. It has enough emotions to bring waterworks to anybody’s eyes and enough humor to entertain and the lantern scene is so much awesome that you’d wish upon a star to see a similar scene in your real life.

The strength of the movie is the relationship between Hiccup and Toothless. Overall, it is an adventure story about the friendship of a man and a beast with a striking visual and humor enough to make anybody laugh.

Some parts are so happy that you can’t help but smile, some so funny that you burst out laughing and some so touchy that tears well up in your eyes without you even noticing them. The movie is a deeply touching and near-perfect emotional triumph which teaches us that life is a journey; a journey of finding our true self. That death is a natural part of life, that it’s better to do what is right instead of what is easier and that the good always, wins over the evil. To say that the lion king is an amazing movie would be an understatement and it is a movie that never gets old. Never.

It is a 3D animated movie that follows an ordinary LEGO mini-figure Emmet who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person when he accidently stumbles upon the piece of resistance which is able to stop a super-weapon called ‘Kragle’ wrongfully stolen by the villain named as Lord Business. According to a prophecy, poor Emmet is proclaimed as the ‘Special One’, and is suddenly burdened with the mission to stop the destruction of the world, a mission he vaguely knows about. The tough action heroine Wyldstyle, old and humble Vituvius and Batman, the boyfriend of Wyldstyle among others are there to help Emmet but Bad Cop is breaths down his neck at every corner. The adventure for which Emmet is hilariously and hopelessly underprepared begins.
The beauty of the story-telling of the movie lies in the right mix of emotion and humor that it carries. The references to pop culture such as Batman puns, jokes on Dumbledore and Gandalf getting mixed up, the appearance of star wars spaceship are downright funny even though young kids might not get them and at the end of the movie, your kid will be like.. ‘Bring on the sequel!’
